Supreme Court Deals Blow To Law Requiring Proof Of Citizenship To Vote

(Washington, DC)  --  The U.S. Supreme Court is striking down an Arizona law that requires voters to prove citizenship.  The voter registration provision was in a 2004 state law known as Proposition 200.  Seven of nine high court justices ruled that Prop 200 is trumped by the federal National Voter Registration Act of 1993.
